Benzein Kanon Brogue Cap Toe Boot

Fantastic first time doming! Went from bright eyed rookie to grizzled vet in 6 months time. Traveled on many trips and watched the birth of my first kid. An unbooted fellow may have fainted in the hospital watching the theatrics of childbirth, but not I. Benzeins on foot kept me rooted and in the game, darting to and fro dodging body fluids and muttering encouraging nonsense. Some people in that suite called me the MVP of the day due to the boots (some people being me). On a technical level the Badalassi was a very resilient leather and easy to care for as my first veg tan. The leather darkened a few shades and picked up a nice luster. The boots held up well other than some slight separation on the right heel stack that appears to be only an aesthetic issue. The rencong last on these Kanon boots fit my foot perfectly and made a joy to put on each day. Dr. Sole is bullet proof, slightly worn at the ball and heel hit but not nearly as much as I anticipated based on my amount of miles logged. Had a fantastic time and looking forward to next year, may have to double dome boots and loafers!
