Carmina Work Boots 80791

I wasn't able to wear these as much as i planned, due to some medical issues this winter, but I put as many hard hours into them as I could. These have about 3 months worth of pretty hard Monday-Friday NYC wear. I chose this pair because i needed something that worked with my business casual wardrobe in NYC winter weather. Overall, this was the perfect choice. the patterned calf lower, suede upper, and ridgeway sole was absolutely ideal, despite this being a calm winter. From a patina persective, this was always going to be a subtle development due to the leather choice. Overall, though, they darked up a few shades overall, and lightened up a few tones in the high wear areas, such as the inner heels. I also like how the suede developed a bit of nap, and some stretch marks from the calf started to come through on the right side outer heel. Overall, this has been a fun project, and the boots broke in wonderfully. I'm going to keep wearing these very often and am looking forward to them continuing to subtly develop.
