Iron Boots Devil Dog

Well I made it through another Thunderdome. I think this one went a lot better than the last did, and I certainly enjoyed wearing these a lot more than last year's pair. Horsehide is definitely not the easiest pair to try to patina over the course of 6 months, that I have definitely determined. Since I work from home this pair didn't see much wear throughout the week. They were mostly worn on the weekends to bars, the dog park, or walking my dogs around our local park. Id say that the majority of wear came from bar stools lol. Although my dogs nails definitely put they're share of wear on them. The overdye on these definitely made it so the color didn't change that much. That is until the scuffs and scratches started making their marks. Would i choose this leather again? Most definitely. They've been one of my favorite pairs in my entire collection. I want to make a few notes about the pictures. I did change the location that I took them from inside with a couple of LED lights, to taking them outside in the shade. I felt like this way showed the true color a lot more, so I kept with it. I felt like I needed to address that slight color change you might have seen, just so you didn't think i went towards altering the color in Photoshop.
