Jim Green Footwear
I decided to get the Razorback because of it being a traditional style hiking boot with minimal stitching. My previous pair of work boots had the stitches break in a few places which were high wear spots, and the Razorback had none of those problems. I chose black because I had no other black footwear to match metal band t-shirts (which never fail to be black) whenever I go to concerts and into the pit. I was hoping that it would turn more gray with wear like my previous boots, but seems to not have been the case, and I really should have known better ahead of time. lol
Most people online say to go for true to size. I've always been under the impression that I'm an 8D, but maybe something has changed because my (many) measurements were a little more than 8D; I probably should have gotten an 8.5D. The boots fit most comfortably with the insoles removed.
Ordering this custom pair of boots from Jim Green was quick and painless. Just a quick few emails to sort out the details of which boot and what changes, and you get an order number with which to then properly place your order.
