Horween Natural Indigo Chromexcel Roughout
These have been my daily dog walkers throughout this damp and grey Portland winter. I love the way the indigo has remained dark while rubbing off in certain areas, like a pair of well worn denim, revealing the natural roughout underneath. I can’t wait to see what they look like in a decade as the indigo fades and lightens. Being dark and matte they are a bugger to photograph as they’ll never have the luster of a buffed up shell, but I’ve done my best to convey the details of their aging. Congrats to all who have participated. It has been fun to watch everyone’s progress.
