Badalassi Carlo Oliva Minerva Overdyed Black
Out of the box these were quite comfortable and the break in was quite easy. But i had a hot spot on my right pinkey toe. I did what i could by using a cheap boot stretcher, wearing bandaids, and working the leather at that spot. None of that worked and I developed quite the ugly sore corn. So i didnt wear them as much as i wanted to for this contest. The last is nice and wide at the ball and mid foot while being snug on the heel. But the toe stayed pointed so the width drastically changes from ball to toe box. My feet are like rectangular boxes, thats what caused the rubbing on my wider foots pinkey. The leather creased easyily and pretty much right away. I was afraid i wasnt going to be able to dome them cause i just tried them on for a fit check and the ankle rolls and toes creases happend fast. My favorite thing about the leather was after i was playing on the floor with my kids I noticed my toes rubbing on the carpet a lot, the black starts to rub away and reveal a nice huntwr green thats underneath. It probably was until this last month did the sides of the boots from all the creasing and briches did that area start to show some green. During the first month of doming these i would just set them by my bed side. My cat one day attached the laces and ended putting some cat claw punchers and scratches in them, so upsetting. Overall im really impressed with Sagara and can't wait to buy a second pair from them.
