Horween Natural Dublin
Another year where the majority of the wear of my boots was a result of city living as an academic. Even so, I put Dainite to the test, taking it anywhere from the streets of Manhattan to the forests of Kentucky and Illinois. Dublin has quickly become one of my favorite leathers - its ability to bounce back from mucking through mud, rivers, and all the scuffs sidewalks have to offer while developing a subtle patina is astounding. All in all, I’ve put over 600,000 steps in these and they still look almost as good as new - just with a little bit of personal touches. The only product these have seen is Skidmore’s, which really brought a wonderful feel to the leather. Most importantly, this pair got me through arguably the most challenging part of my life - getting into a doctoral program in clinical psychology. I look forward to wearing them for many years to come.
