Here a present a pair of eningeer boots worn by an engineer (civil). I’m not sure what other did to there boots but it makes my boots look hardly worn (I like to think of these boots as more of a “slow burn”). Overall, this was a pretty fun experience and enjoyed seeing how my boots aged over time. Since this competition was held over the fall/winter months, most of my job was spent in the office so I didn’t get to get them out to any construction sites. I was, however still able to get to climb up and down some slopes looking at landslides. This was also my first pair of engineer boots and it took we awhile to get used to them. I did manage to talk with Chris from Wesco (because I sent in measurements for a custom last) and he suggested a D width for the future. These boots are an E width and seem just a little too wide. All in all, this was a pretty cool experience and I hope to be able to do this again but I”ll probably have to sell a few boots…so many boots I wish I had but unfortunately I only have two feet.
