If by "makeup" you mean build choices, then....in no particular order.... 1. My feet are happiest in White's Arch-ease lasts. Don't ask me how much I spent learning this. 2. Cinnamon Waxed Flesh was and is an all-time favorite leather. 3. Lace-to-toe is king for fit, comfort, support, and anesthetics. There is something wrong with the lacing spaces on the plain toe to my eye. 4. Black eye with speed hooks and black laces is 🔥 hot. 5. Split sole v-tread is key for style. 6. Calfskin white liner is next level comfort, ease, and classic. 7. Rolled top is better in a photo, but I went with the more comfortable cut top. 8. 10" is better for support in a variety of activities, and low-cut boots look and feel wrong to me. 9. Ladder lacing is quick, stable, allows for movement as feet expand and contract throughout wearing, and looks badass.
Fit by a couple of White's professionals in person. Tested in actual Handstitched and stitchdown builds. Using flex tape for circumference at several points on both feet, ankles, and lower legs. As well as being measured using a Brannock device. I have a hi-arch that is also very flexible in compression. It was not a one-stop fit, I am learning about my feet still. If I had to attribute one event to learning the most about my size I would say it was the in person pro-team at White's.
Super easy, Bakershoe.com, emailed updates throughout process, flawless. Arrived and best fitting boots right out of the box.
