I love the round toe shape and of course the black prairie leather. The fit is pretty much applicable for almost every foot and the style is really timeless and fits most outfits
Went down 1 full size from Brannock. I wear a lot of RW boots and this approach works best for me.
I own my own store in which I offer Red Wing boots so I was able to order directly from RW
Daily work in my mens clothing shop, walking the dog, taking forest hikes with swampy areas as well, fixing my car etc. These have seen a lot like rain, snow, mud, sand etc
Very comfortable right out the box, brushed twice daily, cleaned with damp cloth. Conditioned with Bick4 every 2 months. Had to clean them with saddle soap after my hike in the swampy area. Conditioned with Bick4 as well
Sized down 1 full size from Brannock (10D). The toe box has much volume to it but the leather stretched quite a bit with my wide feet. The outsoles are durable and the heel have a little wear. Insoles have molded to my feet and therefore provide a little arch support. Compared to my 8085, these Blacksmith's are feeling a bit lighter and more comfortable. Always wearing them with thick wool socks
Pretty satisfied with the overall design and construction. Love the touch of the brass eyelets and speedhooks plus the contrast raw welt. The waxed flat laces look classy but tend to twist
Very durable but quite hard and no cushion. Traction on snowy roads is okay but very slippery on iced roads
A little worn from daily use but they will definitely will last a long time
Very pleased with these boots. Very versatile, comfortable and stylish. Good bang for your buck. Due to the production on the 8 last, they are suitable for almost every foot. Even for the wider foot
