Alden
Indy Boot
Ealdwine Raleigh
I was very intrigued by all of the gossip about Alden. Then of course, I saw Rose Anvil’s YT channel and while I don’t disagree with his opinions on the value, for me, these are fantastic and worth the price. Even though I feel they are overpriced, I still find value in them. But, once I decided to go dive down the Alden Indy rabbit hole, I wanted to get kind of the flagship version of it. Up to that point, I had Red Wing, Truman, Whites and Grant Stone boots. All amazing boots for sure. But I didn’t size right on them and they all left me wanting and hoping there was more to this world than my experience so far. After a lot more research, actual measuring of my feet, and most importantly, Ealdwine Raleigh having the very color and leather I was after in stock, it was a bang-bang transaction. I can’t say enough great things about the service they provided and the confidence I felt dropping $900+ with them. And I have enjoyed every lace-up, every brushing and every time I get to look at them. The only part I’m not a fan of is taking them off my feet. That’s because I don’t know when the next time will be that I have a chance to wear them again.
Extensive research and measuring my feet.
I purchased them online, but reached out directly to the shop and I have never had a better experience making a purchase. Truly too notch service.
The majority of times these have been worn to work. They are also my date night footwear.
These still look almost the same as they did when new. With such minimal wear, I was surprised at how broken in and comfortable they were from day 1. Sporadic brushing to keep the dust off and a quick brush after wearing them is all I’ve done so far.
By far. The best fitting boot in my collection.
