Man these things took a minute to get going. I tried to wear them hard especially during the second half of the dome. These boots were worn on a ton of hikes through the Georgia mountains. Wore them to help my friend move a piano down three flights of ice covered stairs (do not recommend with leather soles). They also saw their fair share of skating. Managed to land a few kickflips, Ollie down some stairs, but sadly did not land the elusive tre flip. Overall fantastic boots.
Waxed flesh is tough stuff. It took them a good few months to get rolling, but once they did I think it paid off. It took me really wearing them hard towards the end of the dome to get any patina.
The fit was fantastic. The leather sole made for a super easy break-in.
White's did an excellent job with these
I'm so thankful to be a part of another Dome. Really tried to wear these hard. Hiked, skated, moved a piano, did yard work, and truged through Georgia snow. So many great boots this year. It was a blast.
