Boondockers for a Veteran USN sailor.

Will begin wearing on 1 October 2024 for the patina thunderdome.

Initially the fit is great, I mailed in foot tracings to get sizing right.

The boots look super chunky and are wider than I expected. The construction is perfect.

I am concerned about the slick outsole in wet/ damp weather

I initially ordered in horween chrome-excel, and switched to Maryam horsebutt after inventory of the chrome-excel was delayed. I am concerned that the sole is too thick, and the boot is too chunky. We will see as they break in over the next 6 months and the leather patinas.
