I believe it is a 11 f. Or 10.5f. Never talked about it. Fits perfect
I saw this makeup on a Japanese instagram. Rios of mercedes "sox on the pan." Originally released in 2013 by Fukurokuju. I reached out to Rios by email. Was told they don't do single builds.
Adam had me do tracings. Phone consults for feels and preferences.
I was nervous. Anything unknown is anxiety triggering for me. Adam was very helpful and friendly. He asked alot.of questions and chatted multiple times. 2 mailed fittings. Before bottoming.
Wore them sparingly at work. As long long as I know I'll be in a machine all day. Mostly the weekends. Draws alot of attention. Alot of compliments.
The leather were stiff with the lek lining in the vamps. Pig and cow winnings in the uppers. Stiffer at the beginnings. Leather cleaned up very easily. Been a total joy ti wear.
So I went the custom route seeing I've never been able to find a pair that fits right. I actually ordered these with larger tunnels. I can pull these on with one hand. The fit is so good. That I may use the same last in the next build. Hugs my foot snuggly. Literally no heal slip. Need a shoe horn to take off though.
This has been a pair I've wanted for a couple of years. Exceeded my expectations. We had alot of conversations of construction of the pattern. The first fitting was a quick pattern layout and tunnel fittings. Better than the original style. Triple stitched for more durability. It was alot of stitching. I truly love the steam engine pattern on the heal slips. "Hobo heal slides" as he termed them.
Ol faithfull. Been great.
Been a true pleasure to wear. Meets and exceeds ll my expectations. I talk with Adam here and there. He's building a engineer pair. We are also talking about another makeup. His enthusiasm is very comforting. These boots are my current favorites. He's been a gem to deal with.
