The width of the shoe is perfect. Fits slightly large at the ankle. It's my first pair of leather shoes, I usually walk in barefoot shoes.

My surname is Stragapede, it has very ancient origins and for some it means "stratopedon" (which comes from the Greek: battle camp), but since I was little I have tried to observe my feet (Stagapede also means "particular foot") to understand how they work. I have been using only Barefoot shoes for more than 12 years because I have a very wide feet compared to the volume. This is a big challenge for me. I want try to be able to use elegant, well-made and leather shoes. Furthermore, I would like to be able to transfer all my experiences and my character into an educational patina.
I'm a bit stubborn, I got help from customer service but then I made the choice. One size smaller and EEE wider.
It wasn't easy, these are shoes with customs duties and if they arrive and they don't fit well, you have to find your own solution.
Shoes are an essential part of me, and of my life. They keep me company while i take care of them.
The leather breaks down in two weeks of use, the hardest part is the sole. I love jumping, running, climbing and it took about 3 weeks for break in and follow my movements. The leather it incedibile. Is shiny, flaky and soft buy i have no experience in conditioning and caring for shoes so i have found a secret ingredient to oil and perfume this beautiful leather. The only thing i always do is let them dry calmly and clean them with a wool or cotton cloth. The color change in front and on the back, became darker and shiny. Many cuts have formed on this skin but the kangaroo surprised me a lot, it is really strong and the cuts integrate perfectly into its scales.
I'm glad I figured out what kind of foot I have. These shoes are right on the sole of the foot but wide at the instep. They are comfortable, smell good and are well made. I'm glad they don't have the arch support that I hate. I added an insole to make them tighter at the ankle and warm in winter (even -10 degrees). I use sheep's wool socks made in Sardinia and Puglia. The next pair I'll be more careful about the overall volume. I just have one note, I feel that the sole is not balanced, one shoe has the support iron displaced.
These are great shoes, the nicest I've ever worn. I would love to have more pairs.
I would have liked the shoes with the lug sole but they were no longer available. I found excellent traction on rocks and wet surfaces. they struggle on snow, ice and sand.
Good, maybe a bit larger but really well done.
