Everything I do is casual. These have only been worn casually. I've paired with a suit when I've felt like dressing like a bohemian.
This is the nicest leather I've owned. By a mile. It is so supple and extremely durable. The care has been extremely simple--its pretty oily and doesn't need much conditioning. If I want to give it a shine, it takes wax very well
Absolutely incredibly comfortable. The instep is a little too tall. But it's great regardless.
The construction is amazing. It's a Blake rapid construction. Not a stitch is out of place.
The original sole was a typical Italian sole--very soft, but not durable
The 430 is great. Very versatile sole. I'd use it on anything except a dress shoe. It's very hard wearing and comfortable.
Gravati had a very dumb ordering system where stores had to basically do SMU's in large quantities (think Alden) and it seems that they're defunct now. But if you find a pair of these--especially in peccary--dont hesitate. They're great. I'd put them at or above c&j main line.
