Comfort Craftsman Boot
H Last
US Men's Brannock: 10.5E HTB/10 HTT
H Last: 9.5H
Have the CC in Black Yearling, and while it has broken in is pretty snug. I ordered these a half-size bigger and at least for the first slip-in, they feel pretty good.

The main reason is that I wanted a pair of Chelseas that I could wear like a sneaker, and I figured since it aligned with the Thunderdome timeframe, why not? I like the comfort and weight of the RM Williams (I have a pair in black yearling), and while the leather on these is pretty uninteresting, I thought it would be cool to document a “basic boot” and see it progress over time.
Chatted with RMW support, who gave me a pair of 9H (black yearling) that has broken in, but fit pretty snug. So I got these in a 9.5 (10.5 US). I’m just a touch over a 10 H2T on Brannock, and an E width. These fit much more comfortably than the 9H.
Super easy. Saw them online, they had my size, they were here in the Midwest 6 days later via DHL.
Mostly just out and about. I’m a jazz musician and have worn them on gigs and concerts, but also just around Kansas City, on hikes, everywhere.
I’ve conditioned twice when they looked super dry, and they’ve darkened a touch. Mostly, the suede-like Crazy Horse leather has stayed a lot like when I purchased.
They broke in a lot, leather-wise, but overall it was and is a comfy boot
In my opinion, it’s a beautifully manufactured pair.
Grippy and comfortable enough for all day wearing!
These are wicked comfy to walk in, on any surface. No negatives regarding the heels.
Love these boots. I wasn’t able to put them through the gauntlet (I just love a variety of footwear), but overall I think this a great buy for anyone who wants a slightly elevated Chelsea. The weight is feathery, almost, compared to other brands like Grant Stone.
