Feels perfect out of the box. The 55 last is extra pronounced on new boots and it feels so good.
Frank's Boots
So far, I have been breaking these in on hikes in the local woods. I got these for mushroom hunting and they seem to be cut out for the task.
Ive not had too much trouble breaking these in. I think the lined nature of these boots adds to the break in process a little. I wear them until I can't wear them any longer and then I switch to my Raniers.
Cinnamon waxed flesh accents are doing well.
So far, the fit seems perfect. I think i may have longer toes than the average population, so after about a year, my boots shrink a little. The 55 last is supremely comfortable. The arch support is so nice. I used to have heel pain but no longer. I wear thick wool socks with my boots
These boots are the best in the world. Handwelted boots are certainly a little more special. The finishing on these things was second to none. The leather has a luxurious feel to it. Built like a brick shit house. Clicking is great, although since it's roughout, idk if the same specs are desirable. The Norwegian welt is so cool.
Nice and grippy. Very forgiving on concrete.
