I wear these away from work, after work, on the motorcycle, going out on the town. Anything but work. I've never had a pair of engineers before and I have to say I'm impressed.
These boot took about two long wearings to break in. Maybe 6 hours total. They are not an MTO but rather an off the rack version. I oiled them once with Bick 4 before wearing as these thing were made in the PNW at sea level, and I live at almost 5000 ft above that. Its arid to say the least. They have developed a top roll and the boots show every mark in the natural cxl. They are really getting their own personality quickly.
Fabulous fit for me. After sending them my measurements they said an MTO was not necessary and suggested a 13D. They nailed. By far some of the most comfortable boots I've owned.
Great build, well made, quality materials. Overall, the narrower shaft is great for motorcycling. The finishing is perfect.
Fantastic. Ive hade these before and can't find anything wrong. Quiet on a hard floor and very durable and supergrip helps on the bike.
Mr. Lou's are a bit pricy for an OTC boot, and the wait time is excessive. However, im pleased I waited. It was worth it for me.
