This is my third pair of Nick's boots, overlanders and builder pros. I have a pair of Grant Stone Brass boots. I was wearing the overlanders and the builder pros alternating on weekends for the one job. The brass were for weekdays. I needed an alternate weekday boot and loved the meadow color so I got them in free range. These oak tanned leather insoles and proper arch support have eliminated my planar fasciitis.
I measured my foot and used a brannock device. Then went with guidance from various reddit posts.
Easy to order and got it very quickly for. Nicks made to order.
Weekdays in the office. Walking the dog. Weekend working at the bar for about 22 hours on my feet. Some travel to NYC and Philly and other locals. A few holes through the woods.
Initially very stiff. Stoll pretty stiff but has really molded to my feet and moves with me now. I used VSC about once a month and brush at least twice a week. The color has changed from a light green to a darker green with lots of brown and tan tones
These shoes fit my feet perfectly with great arch support for my particular feet. I can wear these on concrete for 16 hours with little issue.
Despite being Free Range and supposedly made from stretch marked and less desirable leather, I believe these are great cuts. Everything about the finish and constriction seems top notch.
Good traction and comfort. I think I am wearing these hard since it has smoothed out completely in areas.
Grippy and seems to be holding up well.
Great value if you want to get boots in Wickett & Craig leather.
