Waiting for oct 1

I chose this boot because my uncle is a wild land firefighter and he has said great things about nicks boots, and i was looking for something in a 10” where the boots i usually got from redwing only come in 8” and only one sole option out of the gate

I did the measuring as nicks suggests for a standard size and i just went with the thurman as my feet like just a little more room than a none thurman. I also researched alot of different articles and conversations people have had. No regrets in getting a thurman i will most likely never get another style of boot.

The experience was quite overwhelming at first when looking at all the options, but after spending some time looking at and building other items it became way less daunting.

Well as of now have not worn other than to make they fit for the upcoming thunderdome, but activities once oct 1st hits will be working on ladders, dirt, snow, ice. Hot and cold conditions will be seen by these boots as well. I will be using these boots as how i use every pair of boots, for work, play and everything in between, especially since winter is right around the corner as its either boots or sandals for me.

Have not been able to break in yet but the leather seems like it will break in beautifully and will update as the contest progresses

So far on initial fit they are fantastic glad i went with the thurman, arch support already feels amazing even though ive only tried them on once. I will update more once im able to wear longer

The boot is beautiful in every aspect, it is by far a more stout boot construction wise all the way around compared to my super sole redwing 914s
