I wanted to try natural CXL
Ordered two sizes, and tried them on. Feet never lie.
Wore these as daily drivers for everything. Office, travel, yard work, woodshop.
I was in this for the leather, and it didn't disappoint. Great patina. Still amazed how much a good brush does for this leather. Only lightly condition the creases a few times to keep them flexible during break in.
This last is one of my favorites. Plenty of toe room and a tight heel. I had to add kilties and tongue pads for my low volume feet, but it just added to the charm. I went up a half size but I doubt that's for everyone. I added nicks delta arch 3/4 insoles for volume and extra arch support.
The boot is pretty much flawless... Except for the exposed welt stitching in some places. I accept it, and didn't have any water infiltration. I had my cobbler add speed hooks.
Pretty hard underfoot for me, but better than expected grip. It's holding up well with minimal wear.
These were my first boots that fit just right, which is a constant struggle for me. It was a pleasure to wear. Some might struggle with the welt issues, and they are pricey vs their peers, but fit is king.
