As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, the boots became my constant companions. They accompanied me on adventures, from the bustling city streets to the tranquil hillsides of the countryside. Their leather began to change, evolving from a dark brown to a rich, beautiful copper color . I wore them on high-rise buildings in Pittsburgh, braving the winds and the heights. They trekked to rugged terrain of the Appalachians in North Carolina, for a wedding. And every Sunday, w they made their way to church, the boots polished to a shine as they stepped through the doors. But then, there came a pause in their journey. On January 4, 2024, I underwent surgery to replace his right hip. During those three weeks of recovery, the boots sat patiently on the shelf, a silent reminder of the adventures yet to come. When I emerged from my recovery, I found that slipping the boots on was easier than before. I continued to wear them in the rain and snow . The boots went with every thing jeans , cargo work pants. I loved how I was professional wearing them when I did my estimate , working employees or just hanging out in the park . I received several compliments but the funny part is that the boots on October and November look so much different than today but the same is true people complimenting In October and February. They looked wonderful through the whole journey.

I order them innNashville at a power washing convention on my IPad . The boots were at my house by the Time I got home . Super simple and easy .

Use & wear

Working in my boots providing estimates for window cleaning constantly in the elements from residential yards to high rise roofs in Pennsylvania. Walking my dogs going to movies dinner and church. Sunny days to rain and some snow .

Fit

The fit is a little loose but I preferred that loose fit a size down may have been snug. The arch toe box were perfect I was in the boot average 8-12 hours most days . Comfortable and good looking . I was very satisfied with the fit . The heel and ball fit me just right.

Craftsmanship

The design is excellent. My father fought in WW2 in the pacific theater and I was hoping to purchase the USN field boot with Natural Chromexcel Rough but my size was not available. I went with the Overdye Trench . The construction is wonderful. Wearing almost 6 months straight the boot held up tremendously. No flaws or breakdown of stiches. The sole wore very even and the tread still has much to go. Very pleased.

Sole & heel

Excellent still life left . The heel wore uneven but that’s typical. I never have worn any footwear almost 6 months straight.

Final thoughts

I would recommend these boots . They go with everything. I never thought the Overdye would patina they way it did . The brown filled in the stitches and the cut outs of the leather . They look so good. The boots are a very good value and they look incredible. I wear them everyday and to everything . The go with most of my outfits I feel comfortable at Sunday church or walking in the park .
