These size like a 9.25D or maybe a 9D,with a large heel cup. They’re shorter in length, with a cramped toe box, plenty of room in the heel and vamp waist. High instep too.

Chose these as I really liked Dave’s pair from last year and was shocked they were actually offering them for sale to the public, I didn’t want to miss out.
I asked Dave and he suggested TTS, I’m a 9 HTT and 9.5EHTB, wish I would have ordered up a size to a full 10E, rather than the 9.5E. They did offer exchanges, which I should have taken them up one
Ordered through DM on discord, everything went awesome.
Really just use them as my everyday shoes.
It seems to hold up well but it marks and scuffs really easily. Shows patina really well, not concerned about durability as they will hold up just fine. It will certainly darken over time and already has.
This last is really not the best for my foot, I have a narrow heel and splayed toes. These were sold as a 9.5E but really seem like a 9 in length, they’re really short and I could use a little more room in the toes, both in width and length. These heel feels loose on me as well but it is really beefy well structured heel.
Considering this is Oldspeeds first attempt at boots, there are little to no QC issues and the boots are very well built. All stitching is exactly as it should be, heel construction is solid, tight sole stitch density. There is a little ripple under the heel where it was lasted but isn’t visible unless you view the boot from side. Wish I had a little bit more toe room and length and a slightly tighter heel cup but otherwise one of the best built boots I’ve ever had.
I really like the Dr. soles raw cord. They’re plenty grippy and flexible, I like them a lot better than any stud or ridgeway sole I’ve had so far. They seem to hold up well to wear too. I’m mostly using them on concrete. I would certainly choose them again and plan to in the future.

I really like the boots and think they’re one of the best American built boots out there. They’re from two guys in Pennsylvania working their butts off. I’m happy to support them, I think they’re turning out a great product. I wish I could try some other sizes and confirm my fit as my current boots don’t fit correctly. Overall the fit on my particular pair sucks but the build quality and materials are solid. Can’t wait to see how they age.
