I have worn these boots through literally EVERYTHING. 6 months of a New England winter really hits every imaginable tick on the check list, other then dry and arid.
The leather held up very well, softened up just enough to be comfortable, and held together and is rugged enough to make a really nice formed fit. I used limmer boot grease once a month or so to keep the leather healthy and moisturized. This really lets the leather flex and bend well without compromising the breathability of the leather like some wax’s or polish’s might.
Seeing how the last was built specifically for my foot, the boot fits better than anything else in my quiver
Whoever made these boots really know what they were doing! (Haha it was me who made them) Proud to have domed my own pair I created. I think I’ll be doing this every year.
Great sole, might not have been the best choice for a New England winter. 10/10 on the correct boot or shoe. Little slick in my icy driveway
Little slippery, but overall great
This has been a great boon to this community. The discord is always heavily active, and it’s bringing like minded people together. I’ll be doing the Thunderdome as long as I’m making boots from this year going forward. Awesome expo
