I wore these boots almost every day for every job I could do. They handle everything well, whether I'm harvesting, working in the field, hiking, or simply resting. I always feel safe when I put them on, and that’s all I need.
The material isn't as tough as the leather found on today's PNW boots, but it meets my needs. It's a bit soft, which helps prevent discomfort around my ankles while still providing reliable protection for my toes. I don't prioritize their care too much; a quick brushing with Mustang Paste after removing the dust is sufficient.
The fit is comfortable and easy. There is no arch support, but that’s fine for me. They are EE width, which is perfect for my wide feet.
I don't have much to say about the craftsmanship. The design is simple, yet it meets high standards. However, the combination of leather color, stitching, and the sole is perfect. The army green laces serve as the finishing touch to complete the look.
The traction is reliable in a variety of weather conditions.
It's the same as the soles.
After all the boots I have, I feel I need a simple, classic pair of work boots. They are just for wear and work, then repeat.
