I've always liked the lace to toe style, and wanted to give it a shot with an RTW make-up.
These C350 Cutters have been my daily drivers for the past six months. They've been on my feet through multiple states, venues and concert halls across the USA. Basically they've been companions both as a casual and work boot. What I really enjoy about these is that they can be dressed up. They're perfectly at home being worn with slacks and a tweed blazer or with jeans and a T-shirt for working concerts/events.
The double shot has been bulletproof for me. It's handled the Midwestern winter, wet days on the east coast, and arid days in Las Vegas. The leather has darkened in spots, lightened in higher wear areas, but will always be revived and take a shine when some Bick4 and brushing. Which basically describes my care routine over the past months. After every high wear week I would do a coat of Bick 4 and brush. This amounted to about every two months. As far as break in is concerned, there wasn't much to denote. The boots were comfortable out of the box and had no issues with rubbing or pinching.
The 55 last is great for me. Flexible feet, low arch and volume. Going forward with a custom pair I may go up a size and down a width or two. But other than that, I have no complaints!
All good, no issues. Personally I'm a big fan of the PNW style and don't necessarily see the issues with finishing that some have. I'm happy with both design and finishing.
10 out of 10, would dome again! I could see myself doing another C350 variant next year. I'm very happy with how these turned out after six months of wear.
