Al's Attire Hand Made
Type 1 Service Boot
Al's Attire in San Francisco
When designing my Service Boot, my goal was to create a boot that embodied durability + toughness = something that could handle everyday wear as well as my adventures.
I collaborated with my good friend Al from Al's Attire in San Francisco. Al, a master craftsman, hand-made these boots with precision and care, ensuring every detail met my vision for durability, toughness, and timeless style. Al has a mold of my foot, but we still went through multiple sizing sessions -- one in the morning and another later in the afternoon. This was crucial to account for natural changes in foot size throughout the day and ensure the truest, most comfortable fit possible.
Each pair is hand-made-to-order with premium materials and crafted with the utmost attention to detail. Custom-made and ready to ship in 6-8 weeks. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
These boots are my go-to almost daily, with rest on Sundays. They've been everywhere -- work, job sites, a Warriors game, and even to my wife's beautiful folklorico performance at the Bob Hope Theater in Stockton, California.
Horween Halloween Brown Chromexcel leather is simply awesome -- aging beautifully and looking better with every wear. Breaking them in has been easier than I would have ever imagined.
The custom fit made to my foot has been incredibly rewarding -- providing exceptional comfort for my back + feet.
Since I am the one who designed them, I might be a little biased, but I absolutely love them. Only top-notch materials all around -- exactly how I envisioned service boots made in the late 1940s.
Great! Four words: Cats Paw Heel + Toe!
